This book is a small collection of my work from the past forty years. It represents a selection of my travels and photographing experiences that I treasure most. The publishing of “From The Heart” marks the beginning of sharing my passion of photography and inspirational poetry with you. I hope that the words that flow from my heart do indeed make you feel like you are beside me on my life’s journey. It is my desire that my words bring to you a forgotten memory and leaves you with a smile.
Many of us have a bucket list; some things on that list we accomplish, other things we simply dream about. I have had a dream for many years to publish my artwork/poetry, but for one reason or another that dream has gotten pushed aside. During this season of my life, I am following my dream with the publication of my first book.
I remember as a small child my father always had a camera in his hand so I got my love of photography honestly. I have been interested in photography since the early 80’s and have been writing poetry for over forty years. I can’t think of anything that I’d rather be doing than capturing the world around me with my camera and linking those images with the emotions that fill my soul.
