Libby was born in Jeffersonville, Indiana, and was one of six siblings. She began her career with the L&N railroad in Kentucky and moved to Florida in 1980 to continue her career with the CSX Railroad. During her 30-year career with the railroad, she earned her degree in American Sign Language Interpretation. Libby has donated her artwork over the past 40 years to raise monies for many charities, and organizations and continues to this day with those efforts.
I remember as a small child my father always had a camera in his hand so I got my love of photography honestly. I have been interested in photography since the early 80’s and have been writing poetry for over forty years. I can’t think of anything that I’d rather be doing than capturing the world around me with my camera and linking those images with the emotions that fill my soul.
